  • Conditional Permanent Residence Rule Removed:

The Canadian government has removed the conditional permanent residence rule that was used to make someone sponsored partners in Canada stay with their sponsoring partners for minimum 2 years.

  • Points based on Education Qualification:

Canada has been a set a new rule for calculating the points based on qualification. An applicant with a high school diploma can enter into Canada as a permanent resident, they must have right kind of work experience as well.  To get the job in the service sector, it is usually best to have a Master’s degree, because it helps the applicant find a good job and also gives them a better chance at getting selected.

  • Language Ability:

Language is an important factor when you are planning to migrate to any country. For an applicant to easily conduct business and work in a new country, it is necessary to know the most widely used language in the country. In the case of Canada, the languages are English and French. Nowadays, Applicant needs to score minimum CLB 7 and maximum IELTS score above CLB 9 in order to maximize their profile potential.

  • Dependent Child Age increased to under 22:

The IRCC has now increased the age of the dependent child to under 22 from under 19. Now applicant can include t children age under 22 years of age in his/her age Canadian Permanent residence application.
